By listening to Seahawks recent album,”Infinity Echo” and their new remixes, it is reminiscent of such as well as a perfect fit and cure by deep listening : even for reflecting on the year, feeling of meditative ease from taking thorns out yourself, or as if you seek an escapade in an ocean or on a cloud from madness.
This is the forthcoming remix EP from Seahawks – an electronic bareliac music of deep listening duo from UK’s Lo Recordings representatives Jon Tye & Welsh, along with the visual artist, Pete Fowler.
The new EP features some profound leading Japanese accomplished producers for new takes on singles and album cuts as follows:
Taro Nohara, known for global releases, and as a member of trip-ambient outfit Unknown Me, has created a silky warm tones and organic instruments of saxophone which emphasize the track’s philosophical and firm nature, featuring the voice of Mindar (‘Kyoto’s Buddhist robot’).
Kawasaki-based Kiyotaka Fukagawa, known as Calm, has been creating an astonishing style of chill out music for over 3 decades with various collaborations. His remixes of “Blue Surround” are worth listening to. The sonic style is deep, acidic and meditative. Always slicked and relaxed, yet able to visualize a different ambient of an industrial nostalgic tone of Kawasaki real.
And one of the special gems in Japanese electronic and ambient music scene, aus aka Yasuhiko Fukuzono of FLAU Records in Tokyo, delivers a rework of delicate and meditative cloud-nine-sound-journey like floats somewhere emphasizing aesthetic of ambient music with sound scape which take you to a moment of ease.
Seahawks’ recent the original album of the remixes EP, “Infinite Echo” has produced by a cultivation of eclectic chill-out-dub-balearic music history (mid-80’s Higher Octave vein, Michael McDonald remixed by Oneohtrix Point Never, etc.), with layered digitally accurate yet handcrafted by a number of craftsmanship to create inevitability to engage listeners sonically, emotionally enlightening us to different depths of listening.
